Honda Australia Bring Award Winning Stand To Farm World

March 31, 2009 - Honda Australia’s stand was voted the outstanding display of all the farm machinery and automotive stands at Farm World, according to a judging panel of industry peers.

“Honda has done really well, this is a key award,” said Mark Cockerell, CEO of Lardner Park events, where the iconic event is held each year in Victoria’s southeast.

“The displays are judged on a variety of factors including: innovation, presentation, uniqueness, even staff appearance.”

“The Honda brand was well represented through the stand; their wide range of quality products was on display and well laid out,” said Mr Cockerell.

The award was presented to Sam Schepis who was part of the team working on the stand, and is Honda’s Motorcycle Territory Manager for Victoria and Tasmania.

“We’re really pleased with this result. It’s only been 12 months since our first corporate stand, so it was a nice surprise,” said Mr Schepis.

“We feel it is beneficial to our customers to have all our products together. We had our cars, motorcycles, marine and power equipment products on show.”

“A lot of people came into the stand to look at ATVs, and by the time they made their way across the stand they were asking about boats and Personal Water Craft (PWC).”

Farm World is held at Lardner Park in Warragul, and attracted 55,000 visitors this year.

“Numbers were up seven percent from last year; we’re really happy with the turnout.” said Mark Cockerell.

“Congratulations to Honda for winning this keenly sought out award. Their marquee was great quality and the whole stand was very interactive.”
