HART Qld “Test Ride & Training” Day

10 June 2009 - HART (Honda Australia Rider Training) Queensland, in conjunction with Brisbane Motorcycles, Noyes Motorcycles, Pro Honda and Team Moto Honda have joined forces to present a unique day of motorcycling aimed at community members of all ages who are interested in motorcycling.

HART’s inaugural “Test Ride & Training Day” Queensland event, to take place on Saturday, 4 July 2009 at the Pinkenba complex, will coincide with the introduction of the LAMS (Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme) in Queensland.

The day has been designed to offer customers an insight into the Honda LAMS range of motorcycles as well as provide information on rider training courses available to all riders, regardless of skill level.

For those who would like to try their hand motorcycling but are a bit wary of what is involved, qualified HART instructors will be conducting free “Try It” sessions designed specifically for those who have never ridden a motorcycle before.

Additional features of the day include:

  • Dealer organised LAMS motorcycle test rides on Honda’s fleet of entry level bikes which includes scooters, naked and small sport bikes, as well as an Enduro model and Super Motard. Test rides start on the hour commencing at 9.00am with the final session taking place at 3 pm.
    • Models available for test rides will depend on availability and may include the CBF250, VTR250, VT400, CB400 and CB400A, CRF250X, CBR125, CRF230L, XR400M, FJS600 Silverwing (600cc and 400cc) SH150i and SH300i, Today50, Scoopy, Lead100, @125 and Forza 250. Book on the Day.
  • Free “Try It” sessions for new riders at 8.30am, 10.30am, 12.45pm, 2.30pm. Bookings on (07) 3860 6629.
  • Discounted Q- Ride courses and subsidised HART courses if booked and paid on the day.
  • Riding demonstrations of Q Ride Competencies, plus additional motorcycle riding skills covered in HART's Intermediate and Advanced Courses.
  • Demonstrations of the Honda Riding Simulator, and opportunities to test your Hazard Perception skills by riding the simulator.
  • Honda Australia race team members to attend and sign autographs.
