Pre-Provisional including Skills Test

 

 

 

 

This course is to be completed by those people who have held their rider Learners licence for at least 3 months and wish to complete their formal training and licensing requirements at HART.

These courses are conducted on behalf of the RTA. The course consists of the following:

• Risk management training
• M.O.S.T.
• Assessed road ride

Course Length

8 hours, check with RTA for start times.

Booking Information

If you wish to book into this course you will need to do the following:

• Call the RTA customer service line on 13 22 13 and book your Pre-Provisional Course asking for HART as your training centre.
• If you require a motorcycle for the course, or yours is not suitable for the low speed skills, call HART on (02) 9144 5725 to book a hire bike.
• On completion of the course and successful completion of the M.O.S.T. you will be issued with a Certificate of Competence (C.O.C.).
• Take your C.O.C to the RTA and pay the appropriate licence fee and obtain your rider's Provisional licence.
• If you are under 25 you will be on your P1 for 12 months and then a P2 for 24 mths.
• If you are over 25 and hold a current unrestricted Australian drivers licence you will be on a P1 for 12 mths.Then on to an unrestricted licence.
