Advanced I

Advanced IAdvanced I courses are structured to enhance and refine the skills of a licenced rider who is confident and continually practicing their rider skills (For confident riders). This is a half day courses running from 12:30pm to 4.30pm.

Advanced I

If you a confident and practiced rider currently riding a larger capacity motorcycle, this is the course for you! The Advanced I course is held over a half day, with riders meeting at Mt Cotton Training Centre (07) 3341 5657.

This course is structured to enhance and refine your existing skills of an already confident and practiced rider currently riding a larger capacity motorcycle on a regular basis. You will be required to use your own roadworthy and road registered motorcycle on the day of the course.

What will be covered during the course?

The course address practical motorcycling skills such as straight line braking, corner braking, counter steering or swerving, throttle control, slow speed riding and exercises which combine different skills within the one exercise.

Other components such as a slalom course, which aims to improve cornering lines, eye direction and riding posture are included in these fun and progressive courses. All of the HART higher level rider training courses are designed to improve your confidence and safety for use everyday as a motorcyclist on the road.

Any special requirements?

Whilst riding you will be required to provide and wear protective clothing. As a minimum for safety equipment on the Advanced course, all riders must wear a motorcycle jacket, full-face helmet (AS 1698), motorcycle gloves, suitable pants (minimum of Draggin jeans) and motorcycle boots. HART high level courses held at Mt Cotton also require students to use their own motorcycle which must be registered and roadworthy.
